Opening the Door for Students to Explore the World

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

The world has become much smaller today for our students then it used to be. This is especially true for our Agriculture Education students. With that in mind, let's help students explore the wider world around them. International Travel opens the door for students to see what is happening outside of their community, their state, and their country. While it may seem scary, international travel is a great opportunity for both your students and you to see and an experience agriculture in another country, try new foods, and interact with new cultures. Come with me as I show you why it is important to give students the opportunity to travel, how to start a program in your school, partners that can help you, and getting your program off the ground. All of our students can gain a little more understanding of the world around them and you have a great opportunity to help them.
