Special Education and CTE systems both support students with diverse needs. The shared perspective of creating a learning environment that is equitable for all learners is not without challenges. This session focuses on helping CTE, Case managers and VR specialists find a collaborative method to work towards a common goal based upon student needs. Learning how to support IEP implementation and providing team members with the proper supports for students to have challenging and appropriate learning opportunities will be a focus of this session. The expected learners for this session are members of the IEP team including teachers, administrators, counselors, interventionists, or other specialists. Connections for this session are in combining the all school goal of inclusion with the individualized support of IEPs to provide for the support of diverse learners.
