Supporting Learning Variability in CTE: Technology Supports to Make it Happen!

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Students who engage in Career and Technical Education learning experiences demonstrate a wide variety of backgrounds, knowledge and skills but also a wide variety of learning needs.  Two types of technologies – supportive technologies and assistive technologies – may help support students in both their CTE in-class learning experiences and their work-based learning experience.  To leverage these technologies, we need to understand each and consider frameworks that can guide the selection of and implementation of these technology supports.  In this session, participants will learn about supportive and assistive technologies and build an understanding of frameworks that can be used to meaningfully employ these technologies to empower students toward successful outcomes in CTE.
